Ramaladdin and her husband, Ramalapuram, have two daughters, one of whom is a student.
The other daughter, Anuradhan, is a teacher.
Ramalaladnani, who is also the managing director of a retail company, said that the first gift she received was a necklace she bought for her daughter’s wedding.
“It’s a diamond, gold and a turquoise, and I thought it was an engagement ring,” Ramalasaid.
“But it wasn’t.
I told my daughter that I wanted her to wear it.”
She said that she got the necklace on her way to school.
“I went to the store and I picked up the necklace.
She gave it to me, saying she was going to wear the necklace with the necklace, but I didn’t wear it,” Ramalsaid said.
Ramalsadni said that when she got home from school, she looked at the necklace and said, “I’m going to give it to my daughter.”
But it was too late.
“When I got home, my daughter was crying, crying because I had to give her the necklace.”
She told Al Jazeera that she was “scared”.
Ramalsam had a heart attack when she returned home from her job.
The day after, she received a call from her daughter asking her to take the necklace back to the shop.
“She was crying and saying, ‘Mommy, why did you give the necklace to me?
Why did you put the necklace in my purse?'”
“And I said, ‘Why did you take my necklace back?
Why are you so angry?
Why didn’t you tell me that you had given the necklace?
I told you that I want to wear this necklace.'”
Ramalsdani said that after the school teacher left, she returned to her shop, found her daughter crying, and then she went to her parents to express her pain.
“My daughter came to me and said that I don’t like the necklace anymore.
She said, I love it.
It’s not a necklace.
It is my daughter’s necklace,” Ramali said.
A teacher’s daughter is one of the most vulnerable people in the country.
Ramalinadni told Aljazeera that she has been called “stupid” by her friends for taking the necklace out of the purse.
“They said, what did you think you were doing?” she said.
She has been told that she is selfish and that she should be ashamed of her choice.
She believes that if she hadn’t bought the necklace for her niece, she would have not come to the rescue of her daughter.
Ramali told Aljam Aljumdar that she wants to make her daughter aware of her “choice” and to be “respectful” of her choices.
Ramalanadni says she feels the police has failed her and is only doing what is “right”.
“They don’t care about my daughter, they only care about their own,” she said, adding that the police did not call her to inform her that the necklace had been stolen.
“We don’t know how to report a theft, we just report it to the police,” she told Aljuaddar.
“What I want is to be treated like a human being and treated like my daughter would be treated.”
The police say that they have investigated the case.
“There is a strong possibility that the theft took place in an official capacity and that the victim has not come forward to report the matter,” a spokesperson for the Police District said in a statement.
The spokesperson said that they will not seek prosecution for the theft and will be seeking an investigation against the thief.
