TechRadr’s sister site, The Next Web, has reported that the U.K. government will be granting gifting credits worth up to £1,000 to businesses using the cloud-based gift card processing service Coinbase.
The news comes just a day after the U,S.
Treasury announced that it was lifting restrictions on gift card payments to U.S. customers.
The announcement came on the same day that the European Union announced it was giving gift cards to U,K.
customers to use for travel to the U., and in the wake of an investigation by the European Commission.
In the U?s case, the company was fined for accepting more than €2 million in gifts from the government over a period of five years.
